Our Answer To High Street Repair Shops
It's a dark winters night and our Service and Repair Manager, Ross, has just arrived home after a hard day fixing machines and doing things Service and Repair managers do. He flicks off his boots, sits down and prepares to catch up on the days goings-on in the newspaper. An article catches his attention, a piece on MP Michael Gove who highlights the lack of electrical repair shops on modern high streets. Ross cheers and jumps around as he has a Eureka moment!
Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic but Ross did have a great idea. At Janitorial Express we sell a huge number of vacuums, naturally some of which come back to us for repair. But there are an excessive number which are likely to be thrown into landfill OR get stuck in huge vacuum graveyards (otherwise known as storage rooms).
According to reports in The Telegraph, each year Britons are estimated to throw away around two million tonnes of electronics waste. To change this we need to fix whats broken rather than replacing it, but repair shops are becoming increasingly scarce on our high streets. So we want to make a change.
In 2019 we are committed to reducing the amount of plastic we use and helping the environment recover from the damage that has already been done. One of our highest selling vacuums is the Numatic, or Henry as most people know him. And by recycling Henry's we can reduce the amount of plastic going to landfill and reduce energy needed to produce new Henry's.
So, we are calling all you plastic-busting, environmental-saving, eco-friendly Samaritans to raid your cleaning cupboards, storage rooms and offices to send over those tired Henry vacuums so we can give them new life!
We are now selling re-loved Henry's for £60 (usually £90) with 1 years warranty.
At the moment we can only accept Numatic/Henry vaccums.
