Janitorial Express presented with the Planet Mark Milestone Award
Having achieved the Planet Mark Milestone Award Janitorial Express celebrates the outstanding achievements recognized at the Planet Mark, which held its fifth annual ceremony at The Royal Institution last Thursday, November 2nd.
The event acknowledged the exemplary efforts of businesses throughout 2022, spotlighting their dedication to environmental stewardship across 13 different categories. These categories were framed around three central environmental objectives: the reduction of carbon footprints, the active engagement of stakeholders, and the clear, honest reporting of environmental progress.

This year's competition saw the highest level of participation yet, with a record number of entries competing for the prestigious accolades. A panel of distinguished sustainability professionals meticulously narrowed down the entries to 58 finalists. The panel included Martin Cooper from Prologis UK, Dan Ryan of the Eden Project, Mais Callan from Impactive Tech, Tessa Ferry of the Race to Zero campaign, Matt Sexton of Futerra, Steve Malkin, CEO of Planet Mark, and Dr. Rima Trofimovaite, head of certification at Planet Mark.
Lily Miller, the CFO of Planet Mark, extended a warm welcome to 400 guests, gathering individuals nationwide to honour a unified dedication to combating the climate crisis.
The audience was graced by Si Bellamy OBE of the Eden Project, who highlighted the themes of nature and regeneration. Bellamy's words served as a reminder of the importance of today's actions in enabling us to amplify our positive environmental impact in the future.
